Welcome to your new best source for Garden Valley MOUNTAIN BIKING/HIKING TRAIL information!
Starting today we will begin posting information “packages” for existing Boise National Forest (BNF) multi-use trails. These packages will include a trail map, route description, elevation profile and a photo or two. The description provides ride ratings, length, elevation stats, highlights, trailhead directions, mileage cues and more.
Today we’re introducing a loop using trails 615B and 615A off Alder Creek Road (615). Refer to the map and separate description for all the details. (Don’t be confused by labels we can’t remove from the map. There is only one Alder Creek Road.) The routes are UNIMPROVED at this date.
Give the loop a try and provide us with comments on the route and the condition by responding with: a) Fun as is, b) Repair it, or c) Don’t like it either way. In addition, we want your detailed comments via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Tell us what type of rider you are: Beginner, Intermediate or Expert.
Based on your feedback, our goal is to work with SWIMBA to improve the condition of the trail, connect trails where necessary, etc. In a separate posting we provide some Safety Pointers to help keep you safe on the trails.
